Pull Up

1. Hang from a bar with hands slightly wider than shoulder width, palms facing away from you
2. Pull your body up until your face is even with the bar
3. Lower yourself down with control

Dumbbell Alternative: Bent over dumbbell rows
1. Bend over so that your back is at a 45-90 degree angle and let your arms hang while holding dumbbells in each hand
2. Without moving at the waist, pull the dumbbells up to your sides, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top
3. Stretch your arms back out to return to starting position
