Project Comeback is a 7 week fitness AND lifestyle program created to help you get back on track with your health and fitness.
Over the course of the 7 weeks, the program guides you from where you are now to where you want to be in a healthy, sustainable way, and puts you on track to achieve your goals.
Unlike most fitness programs, this program incorporates all FOUR pillars of health: exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress.
Resistance training: Project Comeback starts with three full body workouts per week and works up to 5 workouts per week using a workout split. These workouts use no machines—only barbells, dumbbells, and a bench. All barbell exercises will have dumbbell alternatives so if you only have access to dumbbells, you can do this program too!
HIIT: Depending on your goals, there are a few HIIT sessions incorporated into the program, with a full write up on the scientifically proven benefits of HIIT. Fun science!
Steps: over the 7 weeks, your step count will increase.
Movement: There are additional “workouts” to incorporate that aim to just increase your overall movement and help you build healthy habits that will keep you active for the rest of your life.
Calorie plan: There are different example calorie undulation plans for different goals: fat loss, building muscle, speeding up your metabolism, etc.
Recipes: I included some of my favorite go-to recipes when I am trying to stay healthy and on track with my nutrition. Most recipes include vegan substitutions where applicable!
Sleep & Stress:
Science: A breakdown of how sleep and stress can majorly impact not just your health but also how easy it is to achieve your aesthetic goals. A full explanation of why you absolutely can not ignore these two factors if you want to look and feel great now AND still kick ass when you’re 80.
Plan: A plan to gradually improve your sleep quality and stress levels over the course of the 7 weeks and to continue to do so until you have achieved your best sleep and minimized unnecessary stress.
I have written in a variety of modifications to this program to help you go from wherever you are starting to achieve whatever your goal may be. There is a way to use this program for fat loss, building muscle, or speeding up your metabolism. There are also modifications for people who are less experienced or who are busy and don’t want to be working out 5+ days per week during the program or after it is over.
